Individuals can access EPFO services, apply for a PAN etc with the help of the app that is available on Android, iOS, and Windows phones. Here, we look at how an applicant can go about applying for a PAN card using the app. The application can be made both online or offline. To apply online, the applicant can follow the steps mentioned below:
• First, the applicant needs to download the app and launch it.
• Next, the applicant is required to go to ‘All Services’ and select ‘My PAN’.
• Following that, the applicant is required to click on ‘New PAN card’.
• Next, select e-KYC
• Read the guidelines and select ‘Proceed’.
• Next, the applicant is required to enter the personal details asked for as per Aadhaar document.
• On successfully completing the e-KYC and e-sign, the payment of the fees can be made online to complete the application.
To carry out the application offline, applicants need to first download the 49A form using the PAN Query option. Following that, fill up the form and submit it to the nearest UTIITSL office.
